Fresno first time homebuyers receive $8,000 tax credit

First time homebuyers in Fresno, California are receiving up to an $8,000 tax credit from the Federal Government if their escrow closes before December 1, 2009.  Last year's tax credit was really a loan from the government which needed to be repaid.  The 2009 tax credit does not need to be paid back which is why so many first-time homebuyers are
taking advantage of the government's offer.
